Took the flight QR400 at 4.40pm , reached Amman at 7.40 pm

Took a taxi to crown plaza Dead Sea resort and spa - reached around 8.50 pm

Taxi charge -35 JD

Dead Sea is 1388 ft below sea level and is 9 times saltier than the ocean. It is rich in minerals and is good for many skin therapy

Ate in Lebanese restaurant the dinner

Hummus, fatayer , grilled veg , milk

Went around Dead Sea , had mud bath in the Dead Sea

Had breakfast in ambrosia restaurant

Went to Amman - citadel and Roman theatre , taj mall , had dinner at yellow chilies - 55 JD

Bought Dead Sea products from trinate shop

Petra

Started from crown plaza at 11 and reached Petra , Mövenpick around 2 , this hotel was very near to the Petra entrance , it is one of the seven wonders of the world

Nabateans , industrious arabs settled here 2000 yrs ago turning it into trade routes for silk and spice that linked to China, india, southern Arabia , Egypt , Syria, Greece and Rome , Hence we could see the sculptures of different countries here. By 16th century Petra was lost to West and hence remained for almost 300 yrs, In 1812 a traveler johann Ludwig Burchardt unearthed the lost city !!!Unesco now preserves the area located in the town of Wadi Musa !

Started from Petra around 11 AM ! Reached Ma in springs around 3pm- it is located southwest of Madaba! The water emerging at over 60 degrees Celsius , descends from the rocks above to form natural thermal pools , high in minerals !

Other places of interest

Paella, Dana nature reserve,Mukund nature reserve , Baptism site Mount Nebo, wadi rum, Aqaba, Karak, Anjara

Paid 410 JD to the driver for 3 days

Massage with Dead Sea salts and mud speciality for JV , KV and Ananya

Year end party starts at 8.30PM till midnight Arranged it in the ball room with D J and belly dance , Enjoyed the food

Beautiful weather ,windy hence was not allowed to take bath in the Dead Sea! Reached airport at 10.00 am one hr drive from crown plaza .Paid 70 JD for the taxi

Flight to Doha at 11.55am from Amman .

Had a great time with Venkatesh , jayasri, Adarsh , Shreyas, Ananya and Venkat
