Came to Siem Reap via Bangkok , got upgraded to Business class

7-1-18

Reached Siem Reap at 8.40 am

Prince d Angkor hotel and spa  had a good sleep and started for floating village

Phally - driver came to the airport and took us around

Thun lesa lake - natural lake 250km long

There was no religion previously , people worshipped natural elements

In 68 AD King honthir from north india came to Cambodia and married princes Livyi and he preached Hinduism then later on changed to Buddhism in 16 the century,. Livyi only wore leaf as dress and after marriage honthir taught her to wear dress and hence their national dress is like Indian dress

Baphoun- exclusive shiva temple built by jayavarman as there was a fight between Buddhist and Hindus as Angkortham was fully converted as Buddhist temple. We could see whole of Angkor from here .Next to the temple was the palace made of wood now demolished. Built in 11-13 th century

Takeo temple saw it on the way - older than baphoun 

Ta Prohm built for the mother by jayavarman 

Had amok bonlai in SalaRussey restaurant , Siem Reap river

Angkorwat-195 hectare incl. the pond ,only temple area 81 hectare

10000 soldiers in 40 days the pond but temple took 37 days - mamru( home of guard)

Went to the prince de resort and spa at 2.15pm checked out , did foot massage and departed to Ho Chi Minh city .

Reached at 7.30 PM checked in at intercontinental Hotel !

Went through the Mekong village market

Pagoda - co dai religion - all the religion Buddhist, Christianity, cofusionist go this pagoda . There is only one eye . 800000 ffollowers. Came to the intercon hotel in District 1 around 4.00Pm . Went to Ganges restaurant and had North Indian meals 450.000VND (20$)

10-1-18 Ben Thanh market , did shopping for 3000.000 VND , AO show at the opera theatre , where acrobatics were done with bamboo sticks and baskets ! Had dinner at saigon India ( Sambar vadai and idli) then went and did facial massage for 550000VND

11-1-18 Did swimming . Went to Post office  , exchanged 100$ and the cathedral , walked to independence palace and found that it was closed for lunch , took a taxi to war museum ( Bao tang Ching rich chin Trang)where the driver cheated and took 2000.00VND from me . I was very upset and did not concentrate much on the war museum . On the way back to independence palace ( Dinh TOC LOP)also the driver cheated 100.00VND . Had early dinner at Ganges, then went to Saigon square by taxi. Walked back to the hotel . Took a cycloride for an hour and went around the central place . Saw Mariamman temple and murugan temple on the way!

Went to diamond plaza mall and Viscom mall . Came to the airport around 3 pm to board the flight to Singapore by scoot airlines.

Spent about Siem Reap - hotel 100$ , guide $105, misc - 50 $ , smile show ticket 60$ angkorwat tkt 74$

Ho Chi Minh city - hotel 1224$ - expenses 440$
